DMCA & Copyright Compliance
BlueReads respects the intellectual property rights of authors, publishers, and copyright holders. We are committed to responding promptly to valid copyright infringement notices in accordance with applicable copyright laws, including the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") where applicable.
1. Non-Hosting & Indexing Policy
BlueReads does not host, upload, store, or distribute e-books, PDF files, EPUB files, audiobooks, or other downloadable copyrighted content on its own servers.
BlueReads operates as a search index and metadata directory that helps users discover publicly available information. Any files or downloadable content referenced through our website are hosted by independent third-party websites and remain under the control of their respective operators.
Because BlueReads does not control third-party hosting services, we cannot remove files from external servers. However, upon receiving a valid copyright notice, we will review the report and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the corresponding links or references available on BlueReads.
2. Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice
If you are a copyright owner or an authorized representative and believe that material indexed by BlueReads infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice containing the following information:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
- The exact BlueReads URL(s) containing the material in question.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

4. Counter-Notification
If you believe that material was removed or disabled due to a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing sufficient information to support your claim. We will review valid counter-notifications in accordance with applicable laws and our internal procedures.
5. Repeat Infringement Policy
BlueReads reserves the right to remove links, disable access, or take other appropriate measures when we determine that content or sources repeatedly violate intellectual property rights or our policies.
6. Good Faith Policy
We encourage copyright owners to contact us directly before pursuing legal action whenever possible. Our goal is to resolve legitimate copyright concerns promptly, fairly, and in good faith.
