Twinkle, twinkle, little star ! How I wonder what you are, Up above'the world so high, Like a diamond in the sky! When the glorious sun is set, When the grass with dew is wet, Then you show your little light, Twinkle, twinkle, all the night. In the dark blue sky you keep, And often through my curtains peep; For you never shut your eye Till the sun is in the sky. As your bright and tiny' spark Lights the traveller in the dark, Though I know not what you are, Twinkle, twinkle, little star! GOD IS GOOD AND KIND. How very kind is God to me! Look where I may, his gifts I see; The food I eat, the clothes I wear, Are tokens of my Maker's care. i ti'ny, little. He guards me both by day and night; It is his sun that gives me light; And, while in sleep my rest I take, He keeps me safe until I wake.
