Description:Mahabharata is one of the most famous and widely read ancient Indian epics. It portrays events and behaviour of people. The role and action of Draupadi, Gandari, Amba and even Kunti gives us large material allowing us to fantasize and give different interpretations to the events which form part of the traditional Mahabharata narrative.This book 'MAHAИBHARATA' is essentially two stories told concurrently.On one hand, it is a Bhishma centred narrative of the traditional epic as a revenge story of women out to destroy an institution called the kingdom of Hastinapura which the old warrior has vowed to protect.As a corollary, the second story is an extrapolated imaginary revenge story of a modern-era woman. Badra plays the central character in this story. She plans a gradual decimation process of a plus seven-decade-old organisation called Congress party, perceived by her as having harmed India and interests of its people at the time of negotiating grant of independence with the British.If there is one significant difference between the two narratives it is that in the case of Bhishma it was a war to avoid partitioning the kingdom of Hastinapura. In Badra's case, it is her war as a result of the partition of the country.This is a work of fiction. It is an imaginary story. Names of characters organisations, persons, events and places used are mainly to give life and body to this imaginary story and have no connection with actual happenings .The book is dedicated to my better half who has been named after one of the most challenging books ever written called 'Bhagavad Gita' only she uses half the title and spells it differently as Geetha.I also acknowledge with glee the efforts put in by my son Vinayak who took upon himself the onerous task of designing the cover of the book.Lest I forget, I must record my appreciation to the concern my daughter Vinanthika continues to show by egging me not to lose interest in writing.We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
