I would suggest that after those very eloquent introductions, that we end the hear ing at this point so we can all get to work. A bit more seriously, Mr. Chairman, I do have some formal testi mony which I would like to submit for the record. I will not read it, and before I share some very brief opening remarks, because I know that the Members would rather have an opportunity to ask questions, I want to first thank my very distinguished friends and colleagues here at the table for being here this morning.
