Maybe in the end you will write stories for your own gratification but in your heart you will know you accomplished your goal. My goal was to write ten stories in ten years. I can proudly say, "I did it." Each one of my books is different from the other. (No carry over characters doing the same thing.) I spent every day for ten years marveling over the fact that I had so much to say. I even had to put aside one book because I could not come up with a proper ending. After two years of going back to it and then putting it aside again, I found the words to justify its ending. I do believe I mentioned you do hit a snag along the way. I am there, as my title states, "Carolyn's Last Hoorah." After some time off, will I still have some writer's blood left in me? Who knows. Maybe like "The Terminator" ----- "I'll Be Back."
