Lee Knight, of Topeka, T. D. Ban croft, of Kansas City, and G. A. Streeter, of Junction City, by Secre tary Martin. Wm. E. Connelley read the report of the committee on fees and membership, as approved for adoption by the meeting of the Society held May 1, 1900, and published in the twelfth biennial report, in the proceedings of that meeting. The report was accepted as an amend ment to the constitution. Miss Kingman reported for the committee on the celebration of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the Society, that no action had been taken, and suggested that the removal of the Society into its elegant quarters on the fourth floor would be a fitting occasion for that cele bration. The suggestion met with favor, and on motion Miss King man, Miss Adams and John Martin were appointed a committee on the celebration, and instructed to fix the date. The secretary was added to the committee, on motion of W. H. Smith. Horace L. Moore reported for the committee on genealogy that a bill had been prepared and introduced in the legislature to compel proper registration of marriage certificates. On motion of Wm. E. Connelley, the report was accepted, and the committee directed to press the adoption of the bill by the legislature.
