The body oi the Report has not been read by most of the American people. I have no doubt that some of you have read the body of the Report. However, I am glad to say that the Summary was a fair' interpretation of the body of the Report. Most of us had already had a good deal 'of contact with the facts. The Chairman of my Subcommittee was Owen Young. Who had been through experiences of that sort before. After studying the facts for those months, I think we all came to the conclusion which the vast majority of the American people has come to. That we must give some aid to Europe.
