The selection includes most of the museum’s masterpieces and better-known paintings. However, you will also find several paintings, which don’t usually make the cut for Prado guidebooks. I would like to add that this was not an easy task, selecting the 20 paintings and 14 artists that I have included in this guide, considering that there are over 7.000 paintings in the Prado’s collection.
