For the first time the true story, military, diplomatic and political, of the 1974 crisis which led to the division of the Republic of Cyprus by the Turkish army with the use of secret and classified documents from the USA, Great Britain, Greece and Cyprus and written testimonies of the protagonists that shed light on all aspects of the Cyprus tragedy of July 1974 which resulted in the death of around 2,500 Greek-Cypriots, 500 Turkish-Cypriots and 500 Turkish soldiers and entailed the commitment of crimes against humanity by Turkey and the ethnic cleansing of 200,000 Greek-Cypriots from the Northern part of Cyprus.
