But this wasn’t easy and to this day, I have been unable to find the courage to examine my emotions and feelings, in view to understand, why human beings hurt other human beings to an extent where they destroy their lives. But, after lots of persuasion from my children, I finally found the courage to walk the journey of my memory lane.As I walk my memory lane, I offer my reader sorrow, humour, enjoyment, excitement, courage and lots of fun. It genuinely has been amazing walking the journey of my past in Africa and the experiences that I have been through. I realize, I was so young and doing what adults would do and I was seeing through the eyes of innocence. The photos on the cover pages are mine and taken in 1957.
