The first logical conclusion I arrived at is that the good book was absolutely right. If a man wants to truly stay with a woman, he must bear, endure and remain with her while also keeping his attention directed toward her. Not doing so can sometimes cause consequences too dire and misery too great. For a lot of men that may be asking too much, simply because, as men it's not our makeup to stay focused or give attention to our lover every second of the day. That isn't very manly.
