Vanna's childhood playmate Austin always thought Vanna was his girl and he planned to marry her. When she refuses his advances, he decides force her to marry him by drugging and kidnapping her. That's the only way get his hands on the money from the diamonds Fallon brought with him to Earth, sold, and gave Vanna. With her unconscious from a Chloroform soaked rag, he takes her to a rundown fishing shack in the Charleston marshes and chains her by her ankle to a ring in the middle of the shack floor. There he plans to keep her until she agrees to marry him. About the Author: Barbara says she married a wonderful man she met in high school and together they have three children and two grandchildren. She didn't start writing until she realized she was the last one in the family that still had memories of those who had already passed away. Those family stories would be lost forever if someone didn't capture them for future generations. Saving the past began her writing career. The finished high school however her education lacked giving her the mechanics of writing so she bought books and taught herself by trial and error. She enjoyed writing so much that after jotting down every family story she could remember, she began making up short stories, then graduated to full length books. She found she could weave a good story with a great plot that promised to keep the reader interested right to the last page.
