Description:From August 2007 to January 2011, I created a Poem-a-Day blog on an anonymous internet page, writing my words in freedom. I made a rule for myself not to write about sad, bad or mad things, or about love. Although a few of those slipped through, I have removed most of those for this publication. It was fun! When I began writing my first novel, The Harmony of Isis, the blog tapered off and then stopped, while the book took over every lunch period and all my time after work. Now that The Harmony of Isis is almost ready for publication, I thought it would be good to share these poems first, as they were my creative thoughts in the years just prior to the book's story taking over.
