Description:Catholic Poems from the Heart of a Red Dirt Oklahoma Girl has been a work in progress for many years, and a compilation of poetry written from childhood to adulthood. Donna Sue was born and raised in central Oklahoma in 1955, and is a wife, mother of two, and grandmother of twelve. She and her retired rancher husband, Joel Doc, share their time between the wheat fields of Oklahoma and the mountains of Montana. She began writing poetry and song lyrics soon after she first read Romeo and Juliet during her junior year in high school.
