Good for middle school age children and adults too!***** Wonderful read and full of surprises!This book was a wonderful read and brought back many memories of when I was a kid and the first time I went to Mackinaw Island. Aside from the intriguing story and its mystery, I loved the subtle life lessons that are presented, such as being kind and understanding, that makes such a difference in ourselves and others. As a big surprise, I also learned a ton of new things about the history of the area and the reasons behind their appearance. It kept my interest as an adult, and I just bought one for my 7-year-old friend as well. It's got my two thumbs up and I'm looking forward to reading the next one.BetsyDetermined to claim the coveted jackknife at the annual Boy Scout charity race , Liam faces off against Danny, the club bully.
