Description:About the AuthorCharles E. Crouch was born in Wellington, Texas. At the young age of 2, his family moved to Tennessee, where he grew up.In 1942, Charles preached his first sermon in Baltimore, Maryland. During his military service, 1942-46, he preached some in Florida, Saipan, New Caledonia, Okinawa, and Korea. During his college years, he preached on a regular basis for congregations in his home county in Tennessee.After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree from David Lipscomb College in 1949, he moved on to complete a Master of Arts from George Peabody College for Teachers in 1950. That same year, he began his full-time ministry with the congregation in North Birmingham, Alabama. Since then, he has worked full-time with congregations in Alabama, Maryland, Mississippi, Tennessee, Indiana, North Carolina and Ohio. He has preached regularly on radio programs, at Christian camps, schools and college lectureships.Charles is the author of the book Principles of New Testament Christianity. In 1944, he married Mildred B. Boyd. They have two children, Barbara Jean (Mrs. Norman C.
