At the bottom of the cover, it “Anyone found in possession of this book will be excommunicated.” Papal Decree 1687.It causes me to wonder the long trodden path of many spiritual masters who had conquered and was triumphant in their faith, but they were never valued in their times, only to be met with excommunication.This Kindle edition is the complete version of the 1685 English edition. We have clean up the text for easy reading. This version is much better than other copies on the internet which has a lot of OCR problems with a lot of words in capitalization. The English may be out of date but it does not obstruct the message which comes out loud and clear, a very needed message for our present generation.Also this Special Edition contains 3 additional important essays.1. The Persecution of Michael Molinos1. The Biography of Miguel de Molinos.2.
