This is the first album Thalia recorded on the company "EMI Music" and the second which does not count with the participation of Alfredo Diaz Ordaz, who had produced Thalia's two first studio albums and who was his first love, until he died from Hepatitis, in 1992. "En Extasis" was produced by the Mexican producer Oscar Lopez, except for the songs "Piel Morena" and "Me Faltas Tu," which were produced by Emilio Estefan and Kike Santander. The executive producer of the album was Mario Ruiz. This is the first Thalia album that was released to all South America and Spain. Thalia's two previous albums, "Mundo de Cristal" and "Love," had also been released in some Central-American countries and the United States. However, it was thanks to "En Extasis" that Thalia came to be known in all the American Continent, from Argentina-where she has conquered many fans-to Canada.
