Driven insane with hatred for each other, the two mentally flay each other constantly, with their psychological battles often boiling over into self mauling and murderous outbursts. It seems they are destined to eventual suicide until a chance encounter with a simple but wise sage. He sets them on the path not only to reconciliation, but to interior peace. They become no longer two separate souls sharing a single body, but a single being with the harmonized thoughts and feelings of both Hart and the dragon captain - DragonHart. However, in the outside world the dragon lieutenant, who is even more ruthless than his captain, continues their genocidal mission. With only the help of her sage mentor, the emotionally unstable sorceress who cast the spell that merged them, and the simple folk of her home village, DragonHart must save her world. To complicate things, the way of interior peace will not permit her to take the life of any intelligent being, human or dragon.
