I survived, but many a time I must call to remember why. I get frustrated when things don't go my way. I get frazzled when the winds pick up and threaten to close my lungs and stifle my breathing. I write to remind myself of the fight and uphold my shield for I am at war. I write these words of encouragement, mentoring, and self-reflection as I recover. I also write my words of hurt, pain, and odd feelings as I am reborn. It is a daily fight to remember your struggle. Comfort comes quick. We take advantage of second chances in the blink of an eye. MY AFFIRMATION: Just as salt burns open wounds. The mind can be corrupted by thoughts, and by persons that look to downplay your desires, dreams, and goals. We throw salt into our own paths, by letting our fear of the unknown cloud our visions as well as others open our wounds, and salt our dreams. Thus they become dreams deferred. My inspirational bout is a collection of notes, advice, and keys to success. Without mistakes and failures one cannot become successful. Tour my journey through sickness and health, which led me to a new beginning, and the rebirth of my soul. My mistakes and shortcomings are no longer my failures. They have become life experiences.
